We had a fantastic time! It's a beautiful garden, organized by continent and/or regions of the world. There were a lot of little trails and different ways to explore the gardens, as well as amazing city views from the top. If you're a Bay Area resident, I encourage you to check out this treasure!

40-4-Steve: UC Botanical Garden
We've driven by the UC Botanical Garden on our way to the Lawrence Hall of Science a dozen times and each time we say we should go and check it out. We finally made it a priority as part of 40-4-Steve.

Great shot in front of the sign; beautifully scrapped w/ the colors of nature!
ReplyDeleteQuestion: when you hand write your journaling do you use a ruler to draw some light lines to use as a guide? Do you write it in pencil first then go over it in pen and, when the ink dries, erase the pencil?
Those are the things I do, and am always curious as to how other scrappers do it?
No and no. I just write it. I'm pretty good about keeping the lines straight. In this case, I could have switched out the journaling if I'd messed up because the junction would be hidden by the strip. When I know in advance I won't be able to hide mistakes, I might draw in light lines first. But that's really rare. Once in a while, I use the lightbox but that's really rare too.
