The second Scrapbook.com NSD challenge I tackled was called A Rainbow of Possibilities, which simply required adding a rainbow of embellishments (bling, washi, buttons, etc) to a page. I expected it to be the next-hardest challenge for me, not because rainbows are inherently difficult to add to a layout, but because they can look girly and/or out-of-place, neither of which I wanted.
I looked through all my printed photos trying to decide if any of them would make sense with a rainbow. Egg dyeing would go perfectly with a rainbow - hurray! The next decision was what embellishment to use. I like flat pages, so washi was a natural choice.
I love how my page turned out. It's totally my style, yet I would never have added a rainbow without the challenge prompting me to do so.
This is gorgeous! LOVING how you added your rainbow!!!!
ReplyDeletelove the clean look to this layout- the photos do all the talking!
