The final segment of the day was about alternative scrapbooking - mini albums, blogging, photobooks, pocket scrapbooking, art journaling, and Smashbooks. And then suddenly it was over and the cameras were off. It absolutely flew by.
Our microphones came off...
... we took a group picture of cast and crew...
.... and then we had fun with the overhead camera.
But the fun wasn't over yet! Time for the Wrap Party!
We grabbed food and drinks and headed onto the roof. It was a perfect day in San Francisco.
Check out these views from their rooftop.
It was so fun to just relax and chat with everyone.
All too soon, it was time for goodbyes.
I had an absolutely amazing time. A huge thank you to everyone at CreativeLive, my fellow audience members, guests Katrina Kennedy and Jen Gallacher, and most of all to Lain Ehmann. You all made this an experience I'll never forget and I'm so incredibly grateful.
P.S. When I got home that night, my Groovebook was in the mailbox. Sigh.
So fun!!!!! LOVING all the pics!!! And go figure about the Groovebook being there when you got home!! Murphy's Law ;)
ReplyDeleteGreat collection of pictures! Glad it was a success!
ReplyDeleteAnd, regarding your Groovebook, at least you got it! I'm sure you were starting to think you never would!
Great recap, Cindy. I'm so glad that you asked me to attend with you. It was a blast.
ReplyDeletegreat fun to read of your two days... what a great experience you had.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness. Your Groovebook was in your mailbox??? I agree with Doreen - at least you got it! I am so happy to have read about your experiences, Cindy. Sounds like it was an amazing time! I loved seeing your wonderful photos!!!
ReplyDeleteWow. Sounds like you had a great time!
ReplyDeleteCindy, thank you for adding to my on-line experience at CreativeLive with this fun, photo filled report on your adventure. I was watching on my iPad and couldn't participate in the live chat, nor stay tuned to every segment. I did catchup this weekend by watching the videos. And just finished up. You were all so interesting and helpful - representing we homebound folk so well. I must say I loved your Improve page - and found it interesting when you were all forced to avoid analytical side of your brain, your creative side made amazing and fast decision that resulted in warm and wonderful stories. I'm in Santa Rosa - so if you are ever in our area I would love to crop awhile with you!
ReplyDeleteOhhhh, I really wish I would've been able to tune in to the second day! I've enjoyed watching Jennifer's videos, and I've read a couple of things from her regarding scrapbooking difficult subjects ... I really would have gotten a lot out of hearing her segment, and the rest of the afternoon. So glad you had a great time! :)
ReplyDeleteBTW, my SIL is in love with using Groovebook! She keeps asking me if I use it (which I don't). I do take some photos with my phone, but I transfer them to my computer right away, and they aren't often "good enough" quality that I want printed. She is just happy that she has PRINTED photos of her kids, LOL! :)
So lucky that you got to do this!! And I'm so glad that you shared all about it here -- I'm looking forward to catching up with it at some point (I bought access to it when it was super cheap while it was airing to catch it later!) :)
