Steve and I celebrated our 10th anniversary on May 30. We spent two wonderful nights in Capitola, near Santa Cruz. We stayed at the Inn at Depot Hill, walking distance from the ocean. We strolled through the beautiful grounds at Bamboo Giant, explored downtown Capitola, and ate at the incredible Shadowbrook Restaurant. We attended the wedding of Steve's college roommate, watched seals at the Capitola Wharf, visited Pizza My Heart, and enjoyed Seacliff State Beach. Steve surprised me with a beautiful heart-shaped necklace, made of tin (the traditional gift representing ten years). The trip was magical.
I kept the layout really simple, even by my standards. The 17 photos show the highlights of all that we did. There's no journaling, and the title is just three letters. The heart holding the title is a piece of chipboard that I heat embossed in silver. It represents my tin necklace (which you can see in the upper left photo). I love how this turned out.
