Here's the last of the layouts I finished on National Scrapbook Day:
This page was literally the last layout I did on NSD. I'm sure that's part of why it's so simple. I love it though. The photo is of Trevor making beaded wreath ornaments for friends and family. He's made gifts every Christmas since he was 2, which is a story I've never recorded in the scrapbooks. I'm thinking it might be fun to gather up the photos of his handiwork and make a compilation page showing each year's homemade Christmas gifts. Maybe in 2017 when there will be 10 years' worth of projects. That would be pretty cool.
That would be an awesome page!! And so is this one! LOVING that photo and the tree!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love the simplicity of this and the angle of the picture. Even without seeing his eyes, you can tell how much Trevor is concentrating on the project.
ReplyDeleteIt tells the story well. Simplicity is the way to go especially when you have to play catchup!
ReplyDeleteI love making compilation pages- making connections in stories is so fun for me in scrapbooking (Thank Stacy Julian!). Great shot of Trevor!
ReplyDeleteGreat perspective on the photo for this page. And, yes, do a compilation page for sure!
