I love using free crafting materials for kids' crafts. There's so much you can do with cardboard tubes, soup cans, lids, and bottles. Cereal boxes are another fabulous free craft material. Follow along to turn a cereal box into a panda in just a few easy steps. Affiliate links below.

Cereal Box Panda

Materials:

Steps:

Cover the cereal box with black construction paper.

Cut the face from white construction paper and glue it to the front of the cereal box. Cut an arc from the remaining white construction paper and glue it in place to make the panda's tummy.

Hold two pieces of black construction paper together (or attach them using paperclips) so that when you cut out the eye spots and ears, you get a matching pair. When you cut the ears, make them an inch longer than you want the finished ears to be. Fold over the excess to make a flap. Add glue to the flaps, then attach them to the top of the cereal box. Glue the eye spots to the face.

Use a single piece of black construction paper to cut a nose. Glue it in place, then draw on the mouth. Glue the googly eyes to the face.
