Flintstones Inspired 'You Rock!' Card

 Any Flintstones fans out there? Here's an easy card you can make to tell someone, "You Rock!"

Flintstones Inspired 'You Rock!' Card

Materials:

• cardstock (white, black, orange, blue)
• scissors
• white colored pencil
• craft glue

Steps:

Cut and then fold the white cardstock to make the card base. You can make any size you want; mine is A2 (4.25" x 5.5"). Cut a piece of black cardstock slightly smaller than the card base. Use the white colored pencil to write YOU ROCK lightly on the bottom of the black cardstock. 

Cut an orange rectangle to make Fred's shirt, adding an irregular zigzag at the bottom. Cut the blue tie in four pieces - two color pieces, the tie, and the knot of the tie, as shown below. Cut rounded triangles from black scraps. 

Glue the parts of the shirt together, then glue the shirt to the black cardstock. Glue that to the card base. Use the white colored pencil to thicken the letters of sentiment, trying to make them look like chiseled rock. 

Finally, add your message inside and your card is ready to send. Yabba Dabba Doo!
