We took Trevor to Florida on three separate occasions, but we haven't done a good job of exploring the state. Our first visit to Florida was in 2009, when Trevor was 3. We spent 16 hours in Ft. Lauderdale without a car before boarding a cruise, so we were very limited in what we could see and do. Same for our 2017 Panama Canal cruise. In 2013, we spent a week at
Disney World, followed by a week on a
Disney Cruise out of Port Canaveral. We saw a bit more then, but it was still very limited. Some day we'll need to return to Florida to see it properly!
We've had fun learning about Florida through cooking, science, and art with Little Passports, which you can see
here. Trevor has made Cuban sandwiches for us at least a dozen times since!
